There is no regulatory body controlling the claims of commercial 'cognitive' programme owners.  They can say anything and never be held accountable. 

 

It is a growing $80b per annum industry! 

 

Access to science-based evidence is limited to those who have research university connections.  And even then, you need an academic eye to understand what is documented.

 

Claims of peer-reviews, published works (or none at all) were robustly researched by Auckland University’s Centre for Brain Research (CBR).  You can access their work to date: www.cogaudits.org

The CBR have audited  all commercial programmes that are currently on the NZ market – before parting with any funds, access the CBR’s work and check the evidence, or lack of.
